16.1. Ophelia

Ophelia is specialized in lute music, especially English 15th-16th centuries music, and specifically in songs by John Dowland.

6.2. Aboa -quartet

Aboa-quartet played together for two decades performing in Finland, Russia, England and Czech Republic. In England the played in many different concerts, with classical and also with modern musical repertories. Now the group has started to play concerts again after few years of taking a pause.

5.3. Joonas Widenius

Joonas Widenius is a Finnish flamenco guitarist who takes the listeners to a trip to the warmth of Andalusia with the sounds of his guitar. This solo performance includes traditional Spanish flamenco songs and also songs composed by Widenius himself.

9.4. The Captain

Jazz guitarist and composer Mathias Sandberg, who has been called ”one of the best kept secrets in Finland” in an American music magazine Jazziz, is one of the most active musicians in Finland. His longed new trio-album The Captain was released early winter of 2023, and the band made a record release tour of 50 concerts from Rovaniemi to Helsinki.

The Captain is Mathias Sandberg (guitar), Zacharias Holmkvist (contra bass) and Stefan Brokvist (drums).

The Concerts are held in Loimaa Art Museum, in Rantatie 2. Start time is 19 pm. Tickets are 10/8€, with museokortti 7/5€.
Entry is free for the students of the Music Academy of Loimaa.
